About me
My name is Erin Tulenko. I am from rural Kentucky and just graduated from Kentucky Christian University with a BA in Intercultural studies and Music Education. Over the past few years I have made several trips to Haiti of various lengths. I have worked with a couple different organizations and visited a few more. It has been a blessing to be able to work with each of these places and no matter where in Haiti I end up in the future there will be a little of each of these experiences that goes with me.
As for the future. I have a summer job working at a camp for special needs children which is where my heart has been drawn in the last several months. I love this special population of people. After that I will hopefully have a music teaching job in the United States for a while. I hope to be able to make some short trips into Haiti to visit some new places and start figuring out where God will have me work in the future. After teaching in the States for a couple years, I am hoping to return to Haiti to do full time mission work in come capacity with special needs children there.
This blog for now will mostly profile what is going on in my life in the states through the summer and teaching. I will be sure to also give Haiti updates when available. There are several links available of people that I have worked with throughout my time in Haiti. Feel free to check those out for more information.
